Designed by cyclists in the Pacific Northwest where rain, wind and cold is the environment, Showers Pass cycling gear is technically engineered for racers, commuters, messengers and everyday cycling enthusiasts. Inspired by challenging rides and weather of northern California¹s mountainous Showers Pass Road, we have been making technical cycling jackets since 1997 combining superior fabrics with optimal ventilation.

Showers Pass, in the remote mountains of northwest California, is a favorite place for great cycling, but wind, rain and hailstorms can hit quickly. One must be prepared with high-performance gear as there are no services for many miles. Riding at Showers Pass made us dissatisfied with the bulk of available cycling rain gear. Worse yet, many "rain jackets" did not even keep us dry because the seams leaked!

Because we saw the need for better cycling gear, we have designed cycling clothing that has superior ventilation and durability using technical fabrics from 3 continents. Our clothing line includes products made from eVent®, Pertex® and other technical fabrics. For each product every material and design element is carefully considered and subjected to rigorous field-testing.

Our concise collection of cycling clothing includes jackets, pants, and wind vests. Our technically advanced jackets have been chosen with great success in the La Ruta de los Conquistadores race in Costa Rica, Paris-Brest-Paris the Leadville 100 and other events that require the highest performance with minimal weight.
