enthusiasts everywhere introduces the ultimate in wet weather cycling glove protection
for the 2013 season: the all-new Crosspoint Glove line. The Crosspoint line features the
first cycling glove to combine a merino wool liner for comfort with an OutDry®
waterproof membrane for protection.

Developed using world-renowned OutDry technology, the Crosspoint line includes four
distinct gloves designed for active cycling that combine wind sheer, extreme
waterproof and low temperature protection with form fitting comfort, freedom of
movement in a variety of riding poses and other smart, functional innovations.

Unlike other gloves that use outer shell and inner waterproof membrane combinations,
the Crosspoint Softshell and Hardshell gloves feature OutDry technology in which a
waterproof and breathable membrane is bonded and directly laminated to the external
glove’s shell, creating a unique body. Because of this there is no gap between outer hardshell and inner membrane in which water can become trapped, stagnate and cause unpleasant cold sensations for the wearer. Plus, due to the high water vapor
permeability of the membrane, OutDry technology keeps Crosspoint gloves dry and free
of dew condensation.

Showers Pass® Headquarters is moving to a new, bigger and better space as of July 1st.  The new space, located in the SE industrial district, will double the company's office and warehouse facility. 
 

The need for a larger facility is due to continued growth of Showers Pass® clothing sales as well as the company's recent introduction of VelEau™, a revolutionary new bicycle mounted hydration system. VelEau™ hits retail shelves July 1st and will be available for purchase at REI stores and bike shops across the country.
 

With help from the Portland Development Commission, Hennebery Eddy Architects, and Roy Miller of ARH Custom Homes, Showers Pass® has completely redesigned their new office/warehouse.  Located blocks from the Eastbank Esplanade, and the new Milwaukie Light Rail and East Side Streetcar, this central eastside location will be more accessible by bike and public transit. 
 

Working closely with the Portland Development Commission (PDC), Showers Pass® used PDC matching grants for feasibility work and facade improvements, and a loan for tenant improvements, to complete its expansion into an 8,000 square foot office/warehouse in the Central Eastside Urban Renewal Area. The company has also partnered with PDC in the agency’s work for both the athletic and outdoor industry cluster and entrepreneurial development.
