12 Days of Trails

The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational association.

MISSION: To create, enhance and preserve great mountain biking experiences.

VISION: Cultivate partnerships and best practices to advance the future of mountain bike communities.

Since 1988, IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trail work participation, cooperation among different trail user groups, grassroots advocacy and innovative trail management solutions. IMBA's staff, chapters, clubs and members work to benefit the entire mountain bike community.

When you are pedaling through serene singletrack, railing a berm or sending a gap jump just right, what’s running through your mind?

“Where did this sweet trail come from?”

Probably not.

That trail didn’t build itself.

When the sport was born, “no dig, no ride,” was the common refrain as early trails were established. IMBA was formed from this volunteer spirit and for nearly 30 years has fought for land access to build trails from your backyard to the backcountry. The 12 Days of Trails campaign will raise money to support the visionary work of IMBA's 30 volunteer chapters and build more trails. Each day people who support the campaign are entered to win an awesome prize. Keep an eye our for Saturday Dec. 17th when they will feature a Showers Pass prize package.
