Shipping

  • When will my order ship?
Orders placed before 12pm PT / 3pm ET will typically ship on the same day. Orders placed afterwards will ship the next business day.
  • When will my exchange order ship? When will I receive a refund for my return?
We process returns and exchanges in the order they are received. As a small team, our response times can vary given the time of year. However, we try our best to process exchanges and returns as soon as they are received. We ask that you track your return shipment. Once you're sure it has been delivered to our facility, please allow us 48 hours to process your return or exchange.
  • Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship internationally. Please refer to our shipping information page for a detailed overview of international shipping rates.
  • Can I add items to my order?
Once a payment has been processed we cannot add items to your original order. A second order would need to be placed, after which you would need to contact us to ensure that we consolidate your two orders into one shipment.
  • What is will-call shipping? How does it work?
Will-call shipping is our in-store pick up method. Will call orders are usually ready for you to pick-up within 24 hours after purchase. Once you receive a shipping confirmation email, this is a notification that your order is ready to be picked-up at our Portland, Oregon location.

Orders

  • Do you price match? Or honor price adjustments?
Yes, we price match. In order for a price match to apply, the item must be the exact same as seen on the retailer’s website. Example: an authorized 3rd party retailer is selling our men’s Refuge jacket (cayenne / large) at $285.00 while Showers Pass has the same jacket (men’s Refuge jacket cayenne / large) for $295.00. In this case we would match the 3rd party retailer’s price of $285.
  • What is your return policy, how do I make a return?

Return Policy: We include return shipping labels for all orders that ship within the United States. Items in new condition (tags still attached and unworn), purchased from Showers Pass online store and showroom may be returned for a refund or size exchange within 30 days of purchase. If you received free shipping on your order, you will be refunded the amount paid for the returned items less the cost of flat-rate return shipping ($7.50). We won't charge you shipping for partially returned orders, as long as the items you keep total more than the minimum threshold for free shipping (over $50). We cannot offer refunds on items that have been worn outside or on the bike, or show obvious signs of wear. Likewise, for any orders containing free gifts: if your returns drop you below an order value that qualified you for a gift-with-purchase but you want to keep the gift, you will be refunded the amount paid for the returned items less the current retail price of the gift item.

We can only offer refunds on items purchased directly from showerspass.com or our Portland showroom. If your Showers Pass product was purchased elsewhere, please contact us to arrange an exchange or return for store credit.

Amazon Returns: We ask that you follow Amazon’s guidelines for initiating a return. Please visit Amazon's return page.

Please return items unused with all the original tags and packaging. If packaging has been removed from the garment, or damaged, please include this within your return.

Please note that we are a 3rd party seller and therefore adhere to our own internal return policy. For instance, we do not accept used items. If items are returned used, they are subject to a 20% restocking fee. We do not offer free return shipping for Amazon orders. We also ask that you include your original packing slip so we can identify your order more easily. If you no longer have your original packing slip, then please provide us with the order ID which can be found on Amazon, under “Your Orders”. We usually process returns within 48 hours of receiving your return.

  • Do you offer financing?
We do offer interest-free financing provided by Quadpay. Look for the Quadpay link next to the price on all product pages to initiate financing. 4 payments will be spread over 6 weeks and will be deducted from the desired debit or credit card. Returning items that have been financed is accepted, and more information about the program can be found here.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
We do sell gift cards. Gift cards are sent electronically via email the same day of purchase. If you’d like to have a gift card sent to your recipient of choice then instead of providing your email at checkout, please provide the email to whom you’d like us to send the gift card.
  • Why isn’t my discount code working?
There are a few reasons why your discount code might not be working. This discount code might have expired for instance, or you might have used the entire balance of the code on a previous purchase. Please also be aware that discount codes will not work for items that are already on sale OR while a sale is running. If you believe the code should be working, and you’re not trying to use your code on a sales item or while a sale is running, then please contact us so we can resolve the issue.
  • When will this item be back in stock?
If you’d like to know more about a product’s availability, please contact us via email or phone. Also, check our store locator to see if any dealers in your area may still have the item in stock. Showers Pass gear is carried at larger retailers like REI, MEC, as well as independent bike dealers around the country.
  • Who and what is Showers Pass?
Based in Portland, Oregon, Showers Pass is an outdoor apparel manufacturer specializing in waterproof-breathable active apparel. As a tight-knit team of outdoor enthusiast, we enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits that have us testing and developing solutions for the unique challenges presented by Mother Nature.
  • What kinds of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, JCB, Diners Club) as well as provide accelerated checkout options on our website, which include apple pay and PayPal.

  • What is the best Jacket for me?
It depends on what you plan to do with it. Please feel free to reach out to support@showerspass.com, use the chat feature on our website, or call 503-203-8000 if you need assistance. Our team will be happy to help you find the right product for your intended activities, climate and budget. You can also find detailed instructions within our education center.
  • At what temperature ranges can I use Showers Pass products?
Suitable temperature range of a product will vary from person to person. It’s important to take into consideration the activities which you intend to use the product, combined with the level of physical exertion. Many of our products are shells, and are suitable for a wide range of temperatures provided that one can layer appropriately underneath. Check out our fit guide for more info.
  • What size should I buy?
If you're undecided or in between sizes, we recommend buying both sizes to determine what fits best. Use your free return label provided in your shipment to send back the one you do not need for a full refund. Our size chart shows our recommendations based on the intended fit of the garment.   • What’s the difference between Showers Pass fabrics and Gore Tex? Why doesn’t Showers Pass make products with Gore-Tex?
Gore pioneered waterproof breathable materials, but patents on many of these technologies have expired. Instead of purchasing off-the rack fabrics from Gore or other vendors, we’ve sourced and developed our own to meet our precise specifications. Keeping our fabrics under our own proprietary labels allows us to offer great value. Showers Pass fabrics typically out-perform other fabrics commonly found in the same price tier.
  • Where are your products made?
Our products are primarily made in China and Taiwan. We have long term relationships with our manufacturing partners. View our manufacturing code of conduct to understand how we responsibly source our materials.
  • Can you build me a custom product? Do you offer alterations?
Generally, we are not able to offer individual custom products or to make alterations. If you are part of a team or group that uses Showers Pass gear as part of their uniform and you have sizing concerns please contact support@showerspass.com.
  • Can I/will you put my team or company logo on your gear?

Product Care

  • I think my waterproof jacket is leaking, what should I do?

Test your jacket in a controlled setting when you are not wearing it. Often what feels like a leak can actually be condensation from sweat. Sleeves are the most common location where this is felt. Condensation is more likely to form on the inside of your jacket if the exterior fabric is absorbing water. This is commonly called wetting out. Applying a DWR treatment and making sure you’re taking advantage of zippered vents can help mitigate the risk of wetting out and having water vapor condense inside your jacket. If your jacket is leaking and is covered under our 2 year satisfaction guarantee, we’re happy to repair or replace it. Please read our warranty information and contact support@showerspass.com.

If your jacket is leaking because of delaminated or a damaged waterproof membrane, this cannot be reversed. Small areas of delaminated fabric can be patched, but this is typically a temporary solution. Delamination is typically a sign that the garment is reaching the end of its usable life. All waterproof garments will wear out eventually.

If your jacket is leaking because of damaged seam tape, this may not be reversible. Small patches of loose seam tape can be repaired or replaced, but widespread damage cannot. Please send images to support@showerspass.com and we can tell you if a garment is repairable.

  • How do I wash this thing?
Care instructions for each garment can be found on the tag. It’s hard to go wrong with cold water and hang drying. We recommend detergents that are free of additives and scents. Check out our care instructions page for more information.
  • What is DWR?
DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent. This isn’t what makes your gear waterproof, rather it’s a treatment on the exterior fabric that makes water bead up and easily roll off. Check out our blog post on the subject to learn more.
  • Why do I need to treat my garment with DWR?
DWR helps your jacket perform by keeping it light and allowing fabric to breath to the best of its ability. It can also help prevent wear and tear.
  • How can I get my Showers Pass gear repaired?

We're able to do a variety of basic repairs in-house and we’re happy to do so for older and out of warranty items. Please contact support@showerspass.com with pictures of the issue and we can advise your best course of action.

  • How long will my Showers Pass garment last?
How long a garment will last is dependent on a number of factors including the frequency and intensity of use, how the garment is stored and cared for, and even the individual body chemistry of the wearer. A little TLC on a regular basis can help to prevent excessive wear. Check out our care instructions for our recommendations. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about how waterproof gear is most likely to wear out. Our iterative design process has allowed us to design common sources of wear or potential failure points out of our garments.
  • What is covered under Showers Pass customer satisfaction guarantee?
  • Showers Pass’s 2 year customer satisfaction guarantee entitles the original purchaser to a one time exchange for the same style or other products of equal value.
  • Realized you bought the wrong product for your needs? Covered.

  • When is your warehouse sale?
Our popular warehouse sale happens every fall in October or early November. Please be aware that we send out correspondence each year to inform you of this sale period, so it’s important to ensure that you’re on our mailing list.
  • How can I contact Showers Pass regarding a concern I have?
We have three forms of communication to which you can direct your concerns, criticism, and complaints. Our chat window is accessible on every page of our site and is located in the bottom right corner of the screen. We try to answer these chats as quickly as possible, but response times will vary depending on the chat queue.
